> If the Sphere object jump or move from where it is located in the editor, to fix this, go to select
the  Constraint tag again. In the attributes manager,
Basic tab: Check mark the 'PSR'
click the 'PSR' tab :
Hit 'Add' button,
Check mark the 'Position'
Create the Null object and move the Null object to the desired position upwards or downwards and the Sphere object should align to the Null object, drag and drop the Null object onto the 'Target' field so that the Sphere object stayed on the surface of the waves.
Step 3: Select the Sphere object, right click and add Constraint tag (Character Tags > Constraint). In the attributes manager,
Basic tab: Check mark the 'Clamp'
click the 'Clamp' tab :
Hit 'Add' button,
Set the 'To' to 'Surface'
Set the 'As' to 'Phong Normal' or 'Normal'
Drag and drop the Plane object onto the 'Target' field
Step 2: Now create the object you want to float, for example use a simple shape object like a Sphere object.

Step 1: Create the waves with a plane object then apply a wind deformer. In the Objects Manager make the  wind object children of the plane object.
